What should string manufacturers do to create a string that allows athletes to play tennis more comfortably and easily?
All we have to do is create a "string with high resilience and a sense of bite."  This concept is simple but the technology isn't simple.
The monofilament core is often adopted for high resilience.  However, the byproducts of resilience - hardness and vibration give players discomfort on each shot.  The multifilament core reduces the hardness and vibration, which also constricts the resilience.
